This is a very short video clip from Ken Burns' documentary The War, Episode 6, The Ghost Front. I put the video clip here as evidence of Hitler's unswerving determination, and to suggest the possibility of an unsuspected and cunning long-term plan.
My mother, who lived before, during, and after World War II, once commented, "We won the war and lost the peace." As I think about all of the Germans who came to the United States after the war, as I consider my mother's comment, as I review the events of the past 75 years, and as I see the condition of the United States today, I'm not entirely sure that Hitler's plan actually failed. Maybe it was, indeed, and as Ken Burns unwittingely named Episode 6, a ghost front.
In connection with this speculation, I suggest my article Paperclip Legacy, in the November 2014 issue of the Frontiersman.

I originally started making these files available in The Sovereign's Library entirely for historical purposes. It was my intention to provide an easily accessible day-by-day video record of the war in Ukraine, for the use of students, writers, historians, and other researchers. I edited the files with the intention of avoiding any encroachment into any topic other than the war in Ukraine.
| Due to the growing size of the collection, and concerns about potential copyright issues, I've removed the files for now. If anyone needs one or more of the files for research or historical purposes, then I'll try to make the needed files available, maybe on disks or flash drives. I recorded this video clip on Friday, November 3, 2017. Before it was finished, I was so disgusted by the distortions and deceptions that I decided not to keep the recording. Then, I realized that it's an excellent example of disinformation, of how a whitewash can be made to appear as an objective account of an event. The really important information presented in this video clip isn't about the Branch Davidian Massacre. It's about the news agencies.
The video clip contains several statements that are either wrong or misleading.
The brainwashing that's inherent in the video clip is more clearly evident in such things as calling the Branch Davidians a cult instead of a religious community, and in calling Mt. Carmel a compound instead of their home. The most insidious brainwashing is in the perpetuation of the false assumptions that the Branch Davidians had an obligation to surrender to the
unlawful demands of a gang of armed, authoritarian government agents, and that the agents had any right to be there at all.

This is a collection of reports, from a variety of sources, about U.S. foreign policy. They're important because of what they reveal about the atrocities that have been committed by the U.S. government. However, I'm critical of some of the people who appear in some of these reports because they misrepresented some of the situations that they reported by referring to them as genocide. Atrocity and genocide are not the same thing.
According to The American Heritage Dictionary, genocide is the systematic and planned extermination of an entire national, racial, political, or ethnic group. If there are survivors, any survivors at all, then it isn't genocide. It's only an atrocity. I don't mean to downplay the seriousness of atrocities, but the irresponsible and hysterical overstatement of the situation doesn't further the cause. It
either discredits the report and the reporter, fosters misunderstanding among credulous people, or both. If we intend to be serious about this, then we need to describe things accurately.
